Medical Receptionist – Neurology Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist to support a busy Neurology practice. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, experience working with geriatric patients, and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Experience with EPIC EMR is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Greet, check in, and check out patients in a professional and efficient manner. Schedule and manage patient appointments and provider calendars. Verify insurance eligibility, coverage, and patient demographic information. Process referrals and prior authorizations as needed. Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and clinical staff. Accurately enter and maintain patient information and documentation in the EPIC EMR system. Assist with front office operations and ensure smooth patient flow. Handle a high volume of patient interactions while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. Provide courteous and compassionate customer service, particularly to geriatric patients. Perform other administrative and front-office duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Medical Front Office Specialist, or Healthcare Administrative professional required. Experience in a Neurology or specialty medical practice preferred. EPIC EMR experience strongly preferred. Experience working with geriatric patients preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused approach. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
