Earn a $1,000 bonus after completing 300 hours of work!

$178 Per Diem on all 7 days if working all available hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, commission, and maintain electrical systems according to drawings and applicable codes.
• Perform first-time energization (FTE), switching, AutoLOTO, load bank connections/removals, and support Level 3-5 commissioning activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, schematics, and installation drawings.
• Install conduit, cable trays, and electrical devices.
• Follow approved work procedures, safety standards, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Diagnose electrical issues, complete acceptance testing, and respond to service calls.
• Coordinate with foremen, project teams, and clients while supporting apprentice electricians.

Qualifications

• Licensed Journeyman Electrician with at least 7 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Iowa Journeyman Electrician license or eligibility for reciprocal licensing from AK, AR, CO, MN, MT, NE, NH, ND, OK, SD, TX, WI, or WY.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, one-line diagrams, and schematics.
• Experience with conduit bending, cable tray installation, device trim, and load bank operations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Working Conditions

Work is performed on active construction sites and may involve climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for extended periods, working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions. Regional travel between projects may be required.
