Director of Merchandising

We are seeking an experienced international merchandising leader to oversee assortment strategy, inventory planning, and product execution across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels. This person will partner closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to drive sales growth, improve inventory productivity, and ensure assortments meet both global brand direction and local market needs. What You 19ll Do Lead and develop a merchandising team while supporting seasonal assortment planning across multiple channels and markets. Partner with merchandising, planning, product, and marketing teams to build commercially strong assortments that align with customer needs, market trends, and financial goals. Analyze weekly sales and inventory performance, identify opportunities, and make recommendations that support revenue growth and inventory optimization. Manage assortment plans by channel, store volume, and SKU capacity, while maintaining the merchandising calendar and ensuring key deadlines are met. Support annual and seasonal budgeting, provide market and consumer insights, and build strong relationships with internal teams and international partners. What You 19ll Bring You are a strategic, analytical merchandising leader with strong experience in assortment planning, inventory management, and omnichannel retail. You can balance big-picture brand strategy with the details needed to execute across different markets, channels, and customer segments. You bring strong leadership and communication skills, along with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and manage multiple priorities. Advanced Excel skills are required, including pivot tables and reporting tools. Experience working with international markets, particularly in Asia, is highly preferred. Mandarin language skills are a plus. Requirements Bachelor A0s degree required, preferably in business or a related field. Candidates should have 15+ years of buying and merchandising experience, ideally within footwear, apparel, or a related consumer product category, along with at least four years of planning experience.
