Supply Chain Planner

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for balancing customer demand, production planning, and material supply to ensure efficient and cost‑effective operations. This role coordinates across demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to maintain optimal inventory levels and service performance. Responsibilities Include: Demand & Forecast Alignment Analyze demand forecasts and historical trends Collaborate with sales and demand planning to validate forecasts Identify risks (shortages, excess inventory, seasonality) Production & Build Planning Develop and maintain production schedulesAlign manufacturing capacity with demand requirements Coordinate with operations on constraints and priorities Supply Materials Planning Plan and release purchase orders for raw materials/components Manage supplier schedules and lead times Monitor inventory levels and adjust safety stock as needed Cross‑Functional Coordination Partner with manufacturing, logistics, and finance Support S&OP / SIOP processes Communicate supply risks and mitigation plans Performance Continuous Improvement Track KPIs (service level, inventory turns, forecast accuracy) Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency Other Assist department with tasks as needed Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related) 2–5+ years of supply chain, planning, or manufacturing experience Strong Excel, Google Docs, and data analysis skills Preferred: Netsuite experience APICS/ASCM certification (CSCP, CPIM) Experience in manufacturing environment Key Skills: Analytical thinking Proactive ability to evaluate and apply AI solutions to improve work processes Problem‑solving under constraints Communication across teams Attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities This salary range for this position is $50,000 - $75,000 based on the selected candidate's qualifications, market data/ranges, location, and internal equity.
