License/Certs: ARDMS/CCI registered or registry eligible, New Mexico Echo Sonographer License, BLS certified

Experience: 2+ years preferred in echocardiography

What You'll Do

• Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler echocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients
• Coordinate patient scheduling, transport, and billing documentation
• Assist cardiologists during exams, preparing and measuring imaging data
• Ensure equipment quality, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot as needed
• Respond promptly to patient needs and monitor patient condition during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient logs and records
• Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives
• Support emergency echo exams outside of regular hours as part of on-call duties
• Keep current with advances in echocardiography techniques through ongoing education

What You Need

• Required:
• ARDMS/CCI registration or eligibility
• New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
• BLS certification via American Heart Association
• High school diploma or equivalent; two-year allied health education preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Preferred:
• Two or more years of echocardiography experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Manual dexterity and technical proficiency
