Accounting Internship

We are seeking a motivated individual for an internship opportunity with a local accounting firm. This is a great opportunity for someone with little to no professional experience to gain hands-on experience and learn more about the accounting and finance field.

Candidates currently attending school for accounting, finance, or a related field are preferred, but enrollment in a related program is not required. This opportunity is also a great fit for someone interested in building a career in finance.

Job Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities:

• Assist with assembling and reviewing tax paperwork
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional customer service
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate information
• Learn basic accounting office procedures and processes
• Assist with general clerical and administrative duties
• Develop professional communication and organizational skills
• Support the office team with additional tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Little to no previous experience required
• Interest in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Good people and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic data entry skills
• Dependable and willing to learn
• Professional and customer-service oriented
