Center Support Specialist

Position Details Position Type: Family Center/Center Support Specialist Date Posted: 10/27/2025 Location: Family Center Date Available: ASAP Closing Date: Until Filled Job Overview The Center Support Specialist works in collaboration with the Managing Director to provide daily oversight for all programs within the Family Center. Responsibilities include compliance and program regulation, accreditation, licensing, staffing and professional development, curriculum, quality control, budgeting, parent and public relations. The Child Development Team Leader plays a key administrative role, managing staff schedules, training records, food service, mealtime practice per CACFP, and auditing children’s files for compliance with licensing, NAEYC Accreditation, and School Readiness standards. The Team Leader also provides program oversight for the Managing Director when he or she is not available. Education and Experience Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or closely related field, and at least 5 years of previous experience in an accredited child care program. Preferred: Master’s degree with 2‑3 years supervisory experience. Preferred: Knowledge of and experience with child care licensing, accreditation, and Early Head Start. Compensation and Benefits Annual Salary $50,000 pro-rated based on hire date. 12‑Month (year‑round) position.
