Commercial Door TechnicianOur client, a leader in commercial building products and services, is seeking an experienced Commercial Door Technician to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and installing sectional, high-speed, rolling steel, and loading dock doors and equipment. This role is best suited for a mechanically inclined professional who takes pride in problem-solving and delivering outstanding service.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, service, and install commercial doors and related equipment, including:Sectional doorsHigh-speed doorsRolling steel doorsLoading dock equipmentPerform preventive maintenance and safety inspectionsTroubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with doors, motors, and controlsAccurately document service and repair activities, parts used, and time spentMaintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and toolsProvide excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clientsAdhere to all company safety policies and OSHA requirementsQualificationsPrior experience as a Commercial Door Technician (or in a similar role) requiredKnowledge of commercial door systems, operators, and dock equipmentStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills (mechanical and electrical)Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manualsComfort working at heights and with power toolsValid driver's license with clean driving recordStrong work ethic, self-motivation, and reliabilityWhat's OfferedCompetitive hourly pay with overtime opportunitiesFull benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, holidays)Company vehicle, tools, and uniforms providedOngoing training and career development opportunitiesA supportive and safety-focused work environmentReady to take the next step in your career?
