Job Overview Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler & Controller to join our Strategic Project Consulting team within the Power Delivery Solutions division. The role supports a large electric utility client in the Pacific Northwest United States and is in‑office, located in either Portland, Bend, or Medford, OR, depending on the selected candidate. The position focuses largely on construction scheduling, work planning, and project tracking, and may also involve maintaining project forecasts and material tracking. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and drive engineering and construction schedules for various projects for public‑owned and investor‑owned electric utility clients. Work with Project Management using earned‑value management techniques to ensure schedule and costs are aligned, including the development of recovery plans to stay within approved limits. Partner closely with Project Management, Engineering Leads, Managers, Construction teams, and other client stakeholders to track and execute client deliverables. Develop and produce schedule weekly/monthly project control reports for client and internal management review, including resource loading analysis, schedules, critical path items, and risk analysis. Interface directly with the client on a daily basis to report progress, schedule, and risks across a portfolio of electric utility projects. Assist the project manager with the creation and maintenance of comprehensive project dashboard reports and KPI tracking. Support project teams with material tracking. Required Qualifications Mid‑Level: 4–7 years of relevant project scheduling experience. Senior‑Level: 7–10 years of relevant project scheduling experience (pay ranges will be commensurate with candidate experience). Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a closely related discipline. Proven experience working with scheduling software such as Primavera P6. Capability to plan, organize, direct, and track technical efforts on project tasks. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with customer representatives in an effective manner. Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills and the ability to multi‑task effectively. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with electric power infrastructure projects and knowledge of business issues associated with power delivery services. Experience working with U.S. electric utilities. Demonstrated success with a team approach to the consulting business. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $82,550.00 – $149,225.00. The pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation.
