Product Manager (HPCWorks Accelerator & Flowtracer)

Siemens EDA is a global technology leader in Electronic Design Automation software, enabling companies to develop electronic products faster and more cost‑effective. This US‑based opportunity seeks a Product Manager to shape the future of Siemens VOV products. Job Summary As a member of the HPCWorks Product Management team at Siemens, you will lead the roadmap and innovation for products like Altair Accelerator and Flowtracer, ensuring our HPCWorks EDA tools meet the evolving needs of chip design teams worldwide. Key Responsibilities Own the Product Lifecycle: define and execute the product strategy and roadmap. Gather Insights: engage with chip design teams, EDA partners, customers, and internal stakeholders to collect feedback. Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: work with engineering, QA, UX, documentation, sales and marketing teams. Drive Innovation: lead initiatives to expand capabilities into AI‑driven job scheduling, cloud bursting, containerized flows, etc. Market Intelligence: monitor market trends in semiconductor design methodologies and competitors. Communicate Value: translate technical features into business value, support go‑to‑market efforts. Represent the Product: act as a subject‑matter expert at industry conferences and webinars. Qualifications Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 4–7 years of experience in product management, technical marketing, or CAD/EDA engineering roles within the semiconductor industry. Hands‑on experience with chip verification workflows using industry‑standard tools. Working knowledge of Place & Route workflows and physical design processes. Experience designing, configuring, or managing compute clusters and distributed computing environments for chip design workflows. Strong understanding of workload management concepts. Proven ability to work with engineering teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. A customer‑first mindset and a track record of delivering user‑focused products. Preferred Experience Direct experience with Siemens Altair Accelerator and/or Flowtracer. Expertise in verification flows, formal verification, emulation, and regression management. Experience with ECAD design methodologies from RTL to GDSII. Familiarity with Siemens EDA tools such as Questa, Calibre. Knowledge of hybrid on‑premise/cloud environments and cloud bursting strategies. Familiarity with containerized EDA workflows and orchestration tools. Understanding of AI/ML applications in chip design. Experience with HPC and distributed computing architectures. Prior involvement in EDA user communities or industry standards bodies. Background in DevOps practices for chip design.
