Human Resources Manager

Are you an experienced Human Resources professional who enjoys owning the full employee lifecycle and partnering directly with leadership to drive business success? StaffBright is seeking a Human Resources Manager for a growing manufacturing organization with operations across multiple Midwest locations. This role is responsible for leading all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll administration, compensation and benefits, training and development, compliance, and HRIS management. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on HR leader who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys building strong relationships across all levels of an organization. What You Will Be Doing Lead daily Human Resources operations for multi‑site manufacturing locations supporting approximately 100‑150 employees. Manage full‑cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning. Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and managers regarding policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, employee relations, and performance management. Administer compensation and benefits programs, including market analysis, salary surveys, open enrollment, and employee communications. Oversee payroll administration and HRIS activities, including employee data management and performance review processes. Partner with leadership to support employee engagement, recognition, training, development, and retention initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain HR policies and procedures. Investigate and resolve employee relations matters while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and consistency. Develop and analyze HR metrics and reporting to support business decisions. Travel periodically to support additional company locations as needed. What We Need From You Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience with direct responsibility for employee relations, payroll, and talent acquisition. Previous HR experience supporting a manufacturing, production, or plant environment is required. Proven ability to work independently as the primary HR resource for a site or business unit. Strong employee relations skills with the confidence to partner with leadership, influence decisions, and navigate difficult conversations when necessary. Positive, collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and a hands‑on approach to supporting employees and operations. All‑Star Skillset SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
