Senior Technical Program ManagerOur Program Management team under the Commerce Experiences pillar in Marketing work on some of the most impactful and challenging problems in the Software industry. We are a highly collaborative cross-functional group that operates on the edge between Engineering and the business and helps to design solutions from concept to launch - all while focusing on and advocating for what's best for our customers. We work closely with Engineering and Design to create some of the most innovative never-been-done-before products. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Security teams to bring the product to market. The Senior Technical Program Manager will be responsible for managing the scope, impact, and technical complexity of programs through all phases of the product life cycle. This role will manage interdependencies and integrations across projects, teams, and stakeholders. This position will work in conjunction with Product Management, and Engineering to ensure the delivery of our roadmap, and deliver the underlying platform systems and applications necessary to support continued system scale, a broadening product portfolio, the basis for new innovative product capabilities, and improve operational efficiencies related to these areas. This position's objectives will be directly linked to business metrics such as revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency; and technical metrics such as system stability, scalability and performance, and quality of service.This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Program Management and Operations. Responsibility Drive the end-to-end delivery of technical PLG initiatives across the full engineering stackWork with Technical Leads on Engineering design decisions, and contribute to the architectural design reviews to ensure we continue to raise our technical standardsPartner with Product Management, Engineering, UX, Marketing, Sales, Support, Legal, Finance, and IT to deliver best in-class experience for our customersKeep leadership and business teams updated on project timelines and resultsIdentify program dependencies based on a thorough understanding of existing technical systems design and define end to end launch plan ensuring Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Support, Legal, Finance dependencies are representedPartner with Product Management and Engineering leads to facilitate continuous roadmap planningDefine communication plan for programsLead communication within the team, to stakeholders at cross-functional meetingsEnsure adherence to Project Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle while maintaining visibility to Release ManagementIdentify and track risks to project delivery and overall program scheduleWork with cross-team leadership to conduct Level of Effort estimation and resource planning, which includes understanding the details of engineering efforts based on the architecture and developmentEvaluate existing processes and procedures and make recommendations and drive process improvement and adoption of best practices to improve efficiency and effectivenessConduct change management efforts of moderate complexityJob Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. Docusign reserves the right to change a position's job designation depending on business needs and as permitted by local law.What You Bring Basic Bachelor's degree8+ years of experience leading cross-functional, global programsExperience working closely with engineering teams for development and launch of large complex programsExperience using Jira, Confluence, SmartsheetExperience working cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, Research, Engineering, IT, Operations, Legal, Security, Marketing, Sales and Customer SupportExperience leading without authority to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completionExperience developing strong cross-team relationships and partnershipsExperience in a company that has scale or experience in both small and large software development organizations Preferred Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, Electronics/Electrical, or equivalent technical work experienceSolid understanding of eCommerce foundational conceptsStrong and innovative approach to problem solving and delivering solutionsSkilled at dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly growing and changing environmentStrong communication and negotiation skillsConfident in working with Executive team membersWage TransparencyPay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:California: $146,400.00 - $235,375.00 base salaryWashington, Maryland, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $140,100.00 - $206,775.00 base salaryThis role is also eligible for the following:Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals.
