The primary role of the Transaction Manager is to support production members of the Walker & Dunlop Seniors Housing Investment Sales team with transaction management of seniors housing assets, including working with members of the Investment Sales team in producing institutional quality marketing materials, along with day-to-day administrative responsibilities relating to transaction workflow, CRM management, travel, expense, and calendar management. Candidates with high attention to detail, strong graphic design capabilities, and those that are exceptionally organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple time-sensitive priorities will excel in this position.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the creation, design, formatting, editing, and quality control of institutional-quality investment sales marketing materials, including Offering Memorandums (OMs), Broker Opinions of Value (BOVs), pitch books, presentations, email marketing materials, and other client-facing collateral.
• Conduct transaction coordination and due diligence coordination for the Investment Sales team.
• Maintain files to ensure all mandatory disclosures are completed and sent to the appropriate parties for review and approval.
• Contact interested parties to remind them of missing documents.
• Provide a consistent, quality-controlled system to ensure the smooth and efficient management of all relevant steps necessary to close a deal.
• Monitor and assess the progress of sales so that important deadlines are met and contingencies are released.
• Utilize Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator at an advanced level to create and modify professional marketing materials, graphics, maps, charts, layouts, and other visual content.
• Coordinate with investment sales professionals, analysts, and internal resources to incorporate transaction, property, and financial information supplied by others into polished marketing materials.
• Manage transaction workflow from initial engagement through marketing, due diligence, and closing, maintaining organized files, checklists, deadlines, and required documentation.
• Prepare initial drafts of listing agreements and engagement agreements from approved templates at the direction of the investment sales professional for review, and/or coordinate with appropriate internal departments to request preparation of such agreements.
• Prepare non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) from approved templates for broker review; distribute NDAs to prospective buyers, track execution, and maintain associated records.
• Coordinate due diligence materials and transaction documentation and communicate with clients, prospective buyers, internal departments, and other transaction participants as directed.
• Own the day-to-day maintenance and updating of Salesforce for the investment sales professional, including contacts, companies, opportunities, transaction activity, buyer outreach, and other required CRM information.
• Maintain accurate buyer and prospect lists and assist with marketing campaign execution and tracking.
• Manage the investment sales professional's calendar, including scheduling internal and external meetings, calls, Zoom meetings, conference meetings, and other appointments.
• Coordinate business travel, including flights, hotels, and other travel arrangements as needed.
• Prepare and process expense reports, organize receipts, and submit reimbursement documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Attendance is generally 8:30 am – 5:30 pm local time, Monday through Friday

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree (Finance and/or Real Estate concentration preferred) or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in Finance, Real Estate or related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator, with demonstrated graphic design, document-layout, and production capabilities
• Strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Word, and ability to learn Salesforce and other company software as needed
• Strong proofreading, calendar management, scheduling, and project-management skills
• Client relationship management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to accurately and productively handle multiple tasks during time sensitive situations
• Ability and willingness to work extended hours or weekends to meet deadlines when appropriate
• Advanced written and oral communication skills
• Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges and acknowledge growth opportunities, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes
• Courtesy, respect, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders

This position has an estimated base salary of $75,000 - $85,000 plus discretionary production incentives. An employment offer is based on the applicant's relevant work experience, applicable knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
