Job Information Location: 348 ELIZABETH BRADY RD, Hillsborough, NC, 27278-9540, United States Base Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 / Hour Job Category: Disability Services Employee Type: Non-Exempt Required Degree: High school Contact Information Phone: View phone number on click.appcast.io Job Duties and Responsibilities Facilitate onsite job instruction tailored to individual needs and interests, promoting optimal job placement Implement and monitor personalized goals and plans for each individual Serve as a mediator between employers and employees to fulfill mutual requirements Provide safe transportation for individuals, ensuring confidentiality and privacy Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements Deliver ongoing support and guidance post-placement to ensure long-term success Ensure timely and accurate billing submissions in accordance with weekly deadlines Participate in professional development and training to stay informed on best practices Strive to meet or exceed quarterly targets through effective job coaching strategies Other duties as assigned Requirements The Job Coaching position requires a high school diploma or GED. Candidates must have experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to work independently without direct on-site supervision. The role demands a candidate with exceptional patience, compassion, and the ability to communicate effectively, always ensuring professional interactions. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and dependable transportation is required. Certifications in CPR, first aid, and NCI+ are preferred but can be provided by the employer. Finally, candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Physical Requirements Able sit and stand for long periods Able to work in varying climate conditions, indoors, outdoors, in cold, or heat Able to drive to various work sites as needed Summary This role involves supporting individuals currently employed to maintain their current jobs through assessment, on-the-job training, and monitoring to help them achieve independence and retain their position.
