Forklift Operator Overview
Join our dynamic team in Avon, NY, 14414, as a Forklift Operator! We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to safety and efficiency. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by ensuring the smooth handling and movement of materials throughout the facility. If you enjoy working with machinery and being part of a collaborative team, we want to hear from you!
Hours: Nights 7pm to 7am. 12 hour shifts.
2-2-3 schedule. 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on.
Responsibilities- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to designated areas within the facility.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
