A supportive team that celebrates sales wins and helps each other succeed. About the Role We’re looking for an Inside Sales Representative who wants to do more than take orders. Our inside sales reps are often the person customers talk to most, and we want someone who uses that to help customers and grow their accounts. You’ll handle quotes and orders quickly and accurately, then take the next step: following up to win business, suggesting what else a customer needs for the job, and working hand in hand with our outside sales team on shared accounts. What You’ll Be Doing Own your quotes. Build accurate quotes and follow up on a set schedule until each one is won or lost. Enter orders accurately. Enter sales orders, confirm details with customers, and contact them proactively about delays or backorders. Sell on every contact. Solve the customer’s request first, then recommend related products, add-ons, and volume pricing. Grow your accounts. Make proactive calls, suggest reorders, and reconnect with customers who have gone quiet. Partner with Outside Sales. Work requests from outside sales reps and keep them informed on their customers. Stay organized. Manage requests by phone, email, text, and team chat so nothing falls through the cracks. Source and purchase products and coordinate with warehouse and retail teams for on-time fulfillment. What We’re Looking For Experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service with a sales component. Comfort making outbound calls and suggesting add-ons without being pushy. Strong attention to detail. You take pride in getting orders right the first time. Follow-through. You track your open quotes and requests and always close the loop. Comfort with computer systems. NetSuite or ERP experience is a plus. A team-first, coachable attitude and a focus on solutions. Experience with tools, fasteners, hardware, or construction products is helpful, but not required . We’ll teach you the products and our systems. What we’re looking for is drive, accuracy, and follow-through. What Success Looks Like Quotes are followed up on time, and more of them turn into orders. Orders are accurate the first time and requests are turned around quickly. Your accounts grow, and outside sales reps see you as a trusted partner. Responsible for understanding customer needs, presenting appropriate product solutions, and managing the sales process from initial contact through to closing.
