Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active North Carolina Occupational Therapy license (submit snapshot of current license with application)
• Demonstrated experience as a school-based Occupational Therapist, with strong understanding of IEPs and student-centered therapy
• Previous exposure to ECATS preferred
• Flexibility and comfort with an itinerant role, traveling to various school sites as needed
• Strong organizational skills and ability to balance caseload across multiple locations
• Excellent communication skills, working effectively with students, families, and educational staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP/504 plans
• Complete assessments, develop treatment goals, and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support classroom participation and access
• Document services, progress, and outcomes efficiently using designated school-based platforms (including ECATS)
• Flexibly adapt therapeutic strategies to meet the individual needs of a diverse student population
• Maintain compliance with district protocols and state/federal mandates
• Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
