About the Role As a Second Shift Production Associate (2:00pm-10:00pm) in our cream cheeseand bagel productionfacility, you will be an essential member of the team, helping to create high-quality schmear while ensuring smooth, efficient operations.You'llbe involved in every step of production - from pulling and mixing ingredients to packaging and storing finished products - all while upholding strict cleanliness and food safety standards. Working hours are 2:00pm-10:00pm Reports to: ProductionSupervisor Essential Responsibilities Measure, mix, and blend ingredients following established cream cheese recipes and formulations. Operate andmonitormixers, pasteurizers, and filling/packaging machinery tomaintainconsistent product quality. Adjust processing equipment settings to control product texture, consistency, and yield. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) protocols. Conduct in-process checks (temperature, pH, weight, packaging integrity) and record results accurately. Ensure all finished products meet safety and quality standards before packaging. Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and production areas according to strict sanitation schedules. Maintain a clean work environment to prevent contamination or cross-contact of allergens. Dispose of waste and byproducts properly, following facility protocols. Fill, seal, and label cream cheese containers according to specifications. Inspect packaging for defects and remove defective products from the production line. Assistin preparing finished goods for storage or shipment. Communicate equipment issues, safety concerns, or deviations to supervisorsimmediately. Education and Experience Requirements Previousexperience working in a production environment. Previousexperience working with heavy production machinery. Work collaboratively with other production associates tomaintainsmooth workflow. Provide support across shifts or departments as production needschange. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability tobe on time for scheduled shifts anddemonstratereliability in the workplace. Demonstrated adaptability, and the willingness to roll up your sleeves andpitch inwherever necessary. Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time on concrete or other hard surfaces. Regularly required to use hands, arms, and fingers to handle, reach, lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment. Ability tofrequentlylift and move up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 75 pounds withassistanceor mechanical support. Capability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb as necessary to access equipment or perform tasks. Visual acuity and manual dexterityrequiredtooperatemachinery, read gauges, and perform quality inspections. Tolerance for working in environments with variable temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust or manufacturing materials.
