Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patients' orthopedic needs, including range of motion and strength assessments.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education, and appropriate modalities.
• Continuously track patient progress, making adjustments to treatment strategies based on outcomes, and effectively communicate these changes to both patients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and rehabilitation processes to foster understanding and compliance.
• Contribute to the clinic's positive environment by participating in team meetings, training sessions, and mentoring new staff members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at True North Medical Institute, you will work primarily with patients suffering from a range of musculoskeletal disorders, including post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This role demands a strong ability to adapt treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient, ensuring personalized care that supports their goals for functional recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or higher degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or pending licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation.
• Exceptional communication skills and effective time management capabilities are paramount.
• Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification is preferred or a strong interest in pursuing it.
• Experience in manual therapy techniques or dry needling is a plus.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of clinical experience is required, we welcome both seasoned professionals and newly licensed therapists who are passionate about orthopedic care. Hands-on experience in outpatient settings or specific training in emerging therapy techniques will be considered advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package is competitive, with an annual salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:
