Work in a dedicated team environment alongside other educators and receive PCA (Personal Care Assistant) support in each classroom. The position follows a consistent weekday schedule, with hours from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, providing predictability and balance during the academic year.

Desired qualifications:

• Current and valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate is required
• Experience or interest in working with students on the autism spectrum
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other teachers, PCAs, and support staff
• A commitment to fostering student growth and meeting diverse learning needs

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students in Autistic Support classrooms
• Work closely with PCAs to ensure each student receives tailored support
• Develop and adapt lesson plans in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Establish a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages every student to succeed
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with families, therapists, and administrators as needed
