Sales Representative - Advanced Surgical - El Paso/Albuquerque

Haemonetics seeks a Principal Software Developer to lead the technical strategy for SafeTrace Tx, a transfusion management platform used across hospital networks. This role involves architecting scalable, safety-critical systems and mentoring a high-performing engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Define long-term technical roadmap, engineering standards, and core technology adoption decisions
- Establish architectural governance, quality gates, and performance budgets for the platform
- Lead hands-on prototyping of foundational systems and conduct high-level code reviews
- Mentor team members to build a culture of technical rigor and continuous improvement
- Identify and mitigate technical debt, performance risks, and architectural challenges
Requirements
- 10+ years software engineering experience; 5+ years as Principal or Architect
- Expert-level C#, Java, or Python with OOP mastery
- Deep knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, domain-driven design, and event-driven architecture
- AWS proficiency (ECS, EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, SQS, CloudFormation) and Terraform
- Security and compliance expertise including OWASP, OIDC, SAML2, SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA
- Proven track record shipping complex, maintainable products at scale
- Strategic communication ability across technical and executive audiences
Compensation: $103,600-$176,400 annual base
