2-10 Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Full Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Avir at Sulphur Springs, a premier healthcare organization dedicated to delivering exceptional care to our patients. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing direct nursing care to our residents, supervising day-to-day nursing activities, and ensuring a comfortable and empowering environment for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring

  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day nursing activities of your assigned unit

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Nurse License

  • Valid CPR Certification

  • I.V. Certification preferred

  • Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
