Job Type: Full Time, Day Shift Bradford Construction currently has an opportunity for an experienced Estimator with one of our clients, a NYC Public Agency. Collaborate with a diverse range of technical, professional, and managerial staff—as well as designers, consultants, and contractors—to coordinate and develop comprehensive cost estimates. Prepare, or ensure the preparation of, detailed cost estimates across all phases of design and construction. Oversee the creation of quantity take-offs and cost evaluations based on design documents, construction drawings, specifications, and contract modifications. Review and analyze cost estimates submitted by external consultants, providing recommendations on their suitability for implementation. Participate in cost-related negotiations to support project planning and budgeting efforts. Lead, assign, and review the work of team members involved in cost estimating activities. Perform additional related duties as required. A minimum of eight years of relevant experience, with at least five years being in one or more estimating disciplines such as architecture, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelors’ degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
