Quality Technician - 3rd Shift (WI)

We’re Looking For A: Quality Technician Location: Richfield, WI Shift: 3rd (10pm - 6:30am) What You’ll Be Doing: Perform regular inspection and verification of manufacturing lines, equipment and processes throughout the plant based on agreed upon schedule; complete documentation when complete Perform instrument calibrations as needed (thermometers, gauges, lab equipment, etc.) Sampling and testing of raw materials, materials in progress, and finished goods; identify non-conforming material (NCM) and assist with the NCM process Help maintain library of retained samples to assist with material approvals and complaint investigations Regularly interact with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Sanitation and Logistic employees and supervisors to provide useful feedback on quality-related issues or concerns Verify the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are being met throughout the manufacturing plant and its processes Lead environmental swabbing program to ensure pathogen control Assist in monthly internal GMP audits to include documentation and corrective actions Participate in the shelf life monitoring program Lead the collection, analysis, summary and reporting of data in an appropriate format Investigate issues or potential issues and work with relevant parties to perform root cause analysis for deviations and customer complaints Willing to occasionally help on other shifts when vacations or emergency situations arise Assist in the design and implementation of processes and procedures within the Quality Assurance department Participate in cross-functional team collaboration to assure effective implementation and adherence of Quality Assurance initiatives and continuous improvement Assist Quality Supervisor in the training of new Quality Technicians Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required.
