Medical Construction Superintendent

Job Summary:

Medical Commercial Construction Field Superintendent to oversee one or more working areas of a commercial construction project. Role requires scheduling and coordination of construction crews, and execution of the project documents. Must be familiar with interiors, MEP systems & medical facilities inspections & approvals (TDH experience required)!

Role Requirements:

• 3-5+ years field experience as a medical commercial construction superintendent (medical construction experience required).
• Knowledge of scheduling and sequencing of construction activities as they relate to occupied hospitals, ground-up new construction, patient care areas (i.e. MRI, CT X-Ray, etc.), and ICRA requirements.
• Experience with local property management companies & medical facilities.
• General Computer Skills (MS Office, MS Project, Raken, etc.).

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop project schedule and site utilization plans.
• Maintain the overall project schedule and 3-week look ahead schedule.
• Coordinate, schedule and manage all vendor and subcontractor activities.
• Make sure all project and job site reporting is completed accurately, timely and consistently.
• Ensure proper safety measures are maintained and adhered to.
• Manage the quality control on the project.
• Closeout the project in compliance with the contract documents.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

• OSHA 10 (or OSHA 30 is preferred)
• Valid Driver's License
• Construction Degree isn't required (but a plus!)
