Baker and Packager Associate

Position Summary Sam's Club #8166 (3450 Steve Reynolds Blvd, Duluth, GA 30096-4510) seeks a Bakery/Packager Associate to prepare fresh baked items daily, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise. The role involves helping members with bakery orders, multitasking, and ensuring high quality and food safety standards. What You'll Do Be a Team Member: Collaborate with associates to build a strong bakery team and support business needs by working in other areas when required. Be an Expert: Prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing according to company policies and food safety, sanitation, and cold‑chain guidelines. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, using handheld technology for production decisions, merchandise ordering, training, and quality control. Be an Owner: Maintain operational excellence by keeping work areas clean, ensuring quality and date‑control standards, eliminating waste, and ensuring merchandise is properly packaged and stored. Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and club, model high‑quality service, and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics, applying open‑door policies and related practices. Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers and co‑workers, setting priorities, communicating progress, and recommending improvement opportunities. Provide exceptional customer service to members, greeting, thanking, and answering any questions they may have. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Compensation & Benefits Hourly wage range: $17.00 to $25.00. Premiums: $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Health benefits: medical, vision, and dental coverage.
