Insurance Billing BA| Agile, Hybrid/Remote, Contract-to-Hire

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join a collaborative Agile team supporting enterprise insurance billing systems. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, ideal for someone who can step in quickly! This role is best suited for a mid-level Business Analyst with strong documentation skills, experience working in Agile environments, and familiarity with billing or insurance-related systems. Duties: Lead requirements gathering and documentation for billing-related initiatives Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Engineers, and QA to translate business needs into clear technical requirements Support troubleshooting efforts and clarify business rules within billing workflows Maintain and improve documentation across systems (primarily Jira and related tools) Participate in Agile ceremonies as part of a cross-functional delivery team Help ensure smooth knowledge transition from legacy subject matter experts Skills Needed: Experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile environment Background in insurance billing (highly preferred) Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication Familiarity with Jira and other documentation or tracking tools Ability to work in a flexible, problem-solving-oriented environment Basic understanding of QA/UAT concepts (hands-on testing not required) Nice to Have Understanding of invoicing, payments, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy-to-billing workflows Experience with Guidewire or similar insurance platforms Prior experience in insurance or financial systems You’ll join a mature Agile team where the environment is flexible, collaborative, and focused on practical problem-solving Benefits: Contract-to-hire (with potential for conversion to full-time based on performance and business needs) Hybrid/remote flexibility considered Fast-moving hiring process: initial screening followed by panel interview shortly after #J-18808-Ljbffr Paragon IT Professionals
