Assembly-Mechanical Pay Rate and Hours:

• $17.50 per hour. (possibly higher depending on experience)
• Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm (possible overtime)

Assembly-Mechanical Job Description:

• Successful working experience with geared mechanisms, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, welding techniques, and painting techniques with air and pump-supplied equipment
• Assemble units per the drawing specifications
• Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
• Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and grinders to produce a close fit between parts
• Operated hydraulic and manual presses to assist in assembly operations
• Assists with performing test procedures on assemblies as directed
• Learns to repair and maintain mechanical equipment
• Assisted in painting and parts/assembly cleaning when necessary or required
• Performed material handling or tracked parts to receive into assembly
• Be able to drive forklift trucks, hand trucks, or manually move parts as directed or required
