Live-In Caregiver

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Caregiver to join our team at SYNERGY HomeCare of Woodbridge in Matawan, New Jersey. As a Live-In Caregiver with our organization, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care and support to our clients in their own homes.

About the Role

As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 care and companionship to our clients, assisting with daily living activities, managing their medication, and helping them maintain their independence. You will work closely with our team to develop personalized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each client.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical and emotional support to clients in their daily lives

• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Manage medication and administer as needed

• Assist with meal planning and preparation, as well as light housekeeping

• Encourage socialization and engagement through activities and outings

• Maintain accurate records and communicate with our team and clients' families

• Support clients in maintaining their independence and autonomy

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
