Physician Hospitalist - Wetzel

Job Overview West Virginia University Medicine is seeking a Hospitalist for Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville, WV. The successful candidate will practice hospital medicine in the primary location of New Martinsville, West Virginia. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with disease and injuries of the human internal organ system. Establish preventive health practices for patients. Work full‑time, 12‑hour shifts: one weekday shift and one weeknight shift per week. Qualifications MD, DO, or foreign equivalent degree. Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. West Virginia Medical License eligible. Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment. Schedule & Compensation Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Exempt (United States of America).
