Personal Bankers are expected to provide an extraordinary customer experience through a relationship driven, consultive sales approach.ExpectationsRepresent MMB in a courteous and professional manner, provide an extraordinary customer experience through a relationship driven, consultive sales approach.Knowledge of MMBs products and services and ability to recommend and train/educate customers on solutions that fit their need.Focus on and meet individual and team goals, including training, sales, and customer relationship initiativesComply with all Bank policies/procedures and all applicable federal and state laws and regulationsEssential DutiesPerform relationship, sales, product, educating, service initiating tasks, such as:Deposit account openingOnline Banking / Mobile Banking setup & trainingCash Management setup & trainingProduction of Debit Cards and ordering customer checksCredit Card processingSafe Deposit BoxesReferrals for loans, insurance, trust, and merchant servicesEnsuring document imaging is accurate and up-to-dateAssist Customers with transaction based requests, such as:Receives checking and savings deposits: verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back and issue receipts of depositExamine checks deposited and determine proper funds availability based on regulation requirements and complete Hold NoticesProcess savings withdrawalsCash checks: verify endorsement, receive proper identification, and ensure validityIssue cashiers checks: verify identity, ensure funds are collected, and check OFACProcess wire requests: verify identity, ensure funds are collected and follow outlined procedures and policiesIdentify counterfeit currencyAccept loan payments: verify payment amount and issue receiptsProcess cash advances, redeem U.S. Savings bondsMaintain appropriate Currency Transaction ReportsBalance and maintain cash drawer, buy and sell currency from the vault as necessary, ensuring that drawer cash limits are not exceededProcess safe deposit box paymentsAssist Customers with routine account-related requests/inquiries such as:Funds (manual and automatic) transfersStop paymentsInquiries about bank deposit products and service chargesInquiries about ATM and Debit Card usage and limitsInquiries about checking and savings account transactionsInquiries about funds availability and account balancesInquiries and troubleshooting for Online Banking, Cash Management, and Mobile Banking servicesResearch and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison between other bank departments when necessaryResearch customer questions regarding electronic funds transfers and initiate Reg E disputes when appropriate, including the completion of all necessary documents and affidavitsPerform customer requested research, including printing statement and check copiesComply with security procedures established to ensure safety for employees and customers, to safeguard cash supplies, to protect the privacy of customer account information, as well as, follow fraud prevention guidelines established to protect the Bank from unnecessary lossesOther duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMaintain friendliness and professionalism through the proper use of tact & diplomacy when dealing with customers at all timesDisplay a positive attitude and enjoy working with the publicStrong verbal communication skillsStrong mathematical skills along with accuracyDetail orientedPossess a great sense of organization, priority and time managementAbility to work well under pressureAbility to identify, research and problem solve on a critical level and think on your feetAbility to be flexible and to multi-task on a regular basisAbility to work in a fast paced environmentStrong knowledge of bank deposit products/services & regulationsStrong technology skills and knowledgePhysical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion #J-18808-Ljbffr Mid-Missouri-Bank
