TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37404!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med-Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Cardiac/telemetry knowledge, EKG rhythm identification Description: ACLS required. Will accept 48-hour guarantee. Unit has 30 cardiac med-surg beds. Staffing consists of 6 nurses per shift with a charge nurse to assist. Unit secretary available on dayshift. Three Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) per shift. Cardiac drips that are titrated include Cardizem and heparin. Non-titratable drips include dopamine, dobutamine, and amiodarone. Self-scheduling is available. The unit is equipped with telemetry and mobile workstations. Welch-Allen vital signs machines are used for documentation. Scheduling requirements include three full 12-hour shifts and 3-4 weekend shifts per 4-week period. Floating policy includes rotation with other nurses. Advance skills needed include familiarity with cardiac medications and drips. Unit has received recognition for high employee satisfaction. There are 12 internal awards for employees and leaders in the department. 12 lead EKG is available on the unit.
