Role – Utility Business Analyst Location – Phoenix, AZ – Hybrid (MST / PST Candidates) – 10+ years needed Domain –experience supporting utility industry programs Successful candidate will have the ability to : Drive effective collaboration between business and technology teams. Deliver high-quality requirements and process documentation. Improve operational efficiency through process optimization. Support successful implementation of utility transformation initiatives. Ensure projects meet business objectives, timelines, and quality expectations. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 7+ years of Business Analyst experience. 3+ years of experience supporting utility industry programs. Excellent verbal and written communication Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall delivery methodologies. Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and functional specifications. Experience in UAT planning and execution, Data analysis and reporting, Change management support, Stakeholder engagement Expertise in process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience facilitating workshops with business and executive stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and SharePoint. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Any certifications like CBAP/CCBA/PMI-PBA will be an added advantage Experience in one or more of the following utility domains is preferred: Customer Information Systems (CIS) Billing and Revenue Management Meter-to-Cash Processes Outage Management Systems (OMS) Work and Asset Management Distribution Operations Transmission Operations Workforce Management Field Service Management Smart Meter / AMI Programs Grid Modernization Initiatives Energy Management and Sustainability Programs Regulatory and Compliance Reporting Experience with utility platforms such as: Oracle Utilities (CC&B, C2M, MDM) Maximo
