Construction Field Engineer

job summary:
Construction Field Engineer needed for a unique 2-3 month contract position in the East Boston, MA area for immediate consideration.

The right person for this project will be a reliable professional with a residential and commercial construction background with exceptional attention to detail and a full understanding of project scope and meeting deadlines. This role will involve being onsite, observing construction activities ensuring the project is on track and creating detailed reports for the lead construction administrator.

responsibilities:

• Observing construction activities in the field.

• Field documentation regarding work in progress to include taking photographs.

• Review and understand project drawings and scope of work.

• Preparing daily field reports

• Reporting observations and concerns to our Construction Administrator.

Requirements

• Must have construction background along with full understanding construction drawings and defined scope of work.

• 2+ years experience working with general contractor and sub contractors

• Proven professionalism, presentation and communication skills

• Must be detail oriented, organized with exceptional documentation skills

• Proven computer skills such as MS Office suite

• Local travel to job sites.
