About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Quality to spearhead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide quality strategy across multiple precision manufacturing facilities and brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading quality initiatives in areas such as QMS, IATF 16949/ISO 9001 compliance, supplier quality, APQP/PPAP, and warranty and field-return analysis. This role requires a strategic leader who can partner with various functions, including operations, engineering, sourcing, sales, and executive leadership, to enhance product quality, reduce the cost of poor quality, and establish consistent quality standards. Key responsibilities include owning and improving QMS processes, leading audits and certification renewals, overseeing quality KPIs, and championing Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement. Applicants for the Vice President of Quality position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive quality leadership experience in precision manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior/executive multi-site quality role. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, manufacturing, or a related technical field is required, along with strong expertise in quality management standards and methodologies. Experience in automotive, powersports, performance automotive, or motorsports manufacturing environments is strongly preferred. The role demands a proven track record in leading multi-site teams, influencing executive stakeholders, and driving organizational change. Professional certifications such as CQE, CMQ-OE, Six Sigma Black Belt, and/or IATF 16949 Lead Auditor are also desirable. The ability to travel frequently and a background in data-driven quality reporting are essential for this position.
