Field Clinical Engineer

Field Clinical Engineer supporting implantable Class III medical device deployment and clinical integration at healthcare facilities. The role involves on-site procedural support, clinician education, technical troubleshooting, and gathering field data to inform product development and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support during implantation and follow-up procedures for Class III devices
Troubleshoot device technical issues and deliver clinically sound recommendations in real-time
Educate physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on device functionality and clinical workflows
Collect clinical data and user feedback to support regulatory submissions and product development
Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Safety, and Commercial teams to communicate device insights and deficiencies

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Life Sciences, or related field
At least 7 years of clinical or field support experience with implantable medical devices
Demonstrated field support experience for intrathecal device use during clinical procedures
Experience with clinical trial regulations, standard operating procedures, and study protocols
Advanced degree (MS, PhD) or clinical credentials preferred

Compensation: $131,000.00-$175,250.00 base
