Staff Services Analyst I/II/III

The Staff Services Analyst I/II/III performs professional analytical and administrative work in support of Health and Human Services programs and operations. Depending on assignment and level, responsibilities may include program analysis, fiscal and budget development and monitoring, contract administration, grant management, data analysis, policy and regulatory research, program evaluation, and coordination of department-wide projects. The position works closely with department leadership, County staff, community partners, and other agencies to analyze information, identify solutions, improve processes, and support effective delivery of services. Assignments increase in complexity and independence across the series, with the higher levels responsible for more advanced analytical work, specialized administrative functions, project coordination, and potentially providing lead direction or supervision to support staff. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with data, budgets, contracts, policies, regulations, and competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the position regularly works with managers, County departments, outside agencies, community partners, and other stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications Pattern 1: One (1) year of full-time experience as a Staff Services Analyst II; OR Pattern 2: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree; AND Two (2) years full-time professional experience performing general administrative, statistical, personnel, fiscal, program, or staff development analytical work.
