Sr. Financial Analyst, Transportation

Colgate-Palmolive Company is a global consumer products company that operates in over 200 countries, offering a diversified portfolio of oral care, personal care, home care, skin care, and pet nutrition products. We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to act as the financial backbone of our North American Transportation Operations. In this role, you will partner directly with logistics leaders to optimize freight spend and use data to shape the future of our supply chain. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position. What you'll do Financial Management & Month-End: Own the budgeting and planning process for the Transportation Operations Team. Manage the month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis. Freight & Vendor Operations: Manage the relationship with the third-party freight payments processor to ensure timely vendor payments. Collaborate across departments to resolve invoicing issues for domestic and international shipments, and maintain freight standards in SAP. Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to SOX compliance and Colgate Audit Department (CAD) internal financial controls, including testing and cooperation with external auditors. Reporting & Support: Partner with the Analytics Team to build new financial reports that support network development. Guide the operations team on purchase order (PO) creation and payments, and assist with on-site inventory counts as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting 4+ years in corporate Finance or Accounting roles Hands‑on experience with SAP/large ERP systems Advanced user knowledge in Excel Preferred Qualifications MBA and/or MAC Prior experience with DOMO, Sigma, or BI/BW/Power BI Knowledge of Google Sheets is an advantage Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $106,400.00 – $155,000.00 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentives for executive‑level roles.
