About the CFO Administration Team The CFO Administration team within UMB consists of multiple departments that report directly up to our Chief Financial Officer. UMB’s CFO Administration team provides support in a multitude of areas and across all lines of business—whether its basic bookkeeping of expenses or financial reporting, each role impacts the overall profitability and survivability of the company. The CFO Administration team is much more than just a finance team; it expands into our various lines of businesses. Role: Senior Financial Analyst Each line of business within UMB has their own line finance team and within the line finance team there is a Senior Financial Analyst. The Senior Financial Analyst performs a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, building financial models, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with close processes. The Senior Financial Analyst provides financial analytics that influence our senior leadership to make informed strategic decisions that support the initiatives for their line of business. The Senior Financial Analyst has a unique opportunity to network internally by working with a diverse group of business partners across all of UMB’s footprint. The role may be seen as a support position in the background, but it serves as a strong support in guiding our leadership to make decisions that impact the overall success of the company. What You’ll Do Explain analyses to senior leadership to influence strategic decisions. Use strong and detailed strategic analysis to determine return on investment for projects or products, enabling leadership to assess profitability and make effective modeling decisions. Navigate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint to turn raw data into informative presentations or reports for senior leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management (with emphasis in Accounting) or related area, or equivalent work experience. 3 years finance or related experience. Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Financial Management or Hyperion. Compensation US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York — $83,810 to $131,550 US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin — $76,520 to $120,210 US Employees in all other states not listed above — $69,230 to $109,120 The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s good faith and reasonable estimate based on its budget and what it expects to be the starting pay for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
