Role & Responsibilities The Surgical/OR Tech is a vital team member responsible for patient care and surgical case management across pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative phases. Tasks include preparing the OR, maintaining sterile fields, passing instruments, assessing needs, handling medications, and assisting with specimen care and dressing application. They also ensure proper OR setup, instrument sterilization, and support for surgical team members. Additional duties involve supply management and OR preparation for subsequent cases. Qualifications & Skills Candidates must hold current WA State Surgical Technologist registration or be able to obtain it, along with AHA/BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include graduation from an accredited surgical tech program, ORT certification, and 2+ years of experience in a high-volume or multi-specialty setting.
