Desktop Support

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Desktop Support technician to join their team! This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys providing hands-on, deskside support in a corporate environment. The team seeks a reliable, customer-focused technician to support end users with hardware and software needs. This contract role is scheduled to begin in early June and run through December. You will join a small, collaborative IT group supporting a professional and dynamic office where high service levels and communication are valued. Responsibilities: Provide onsite support for end users, handling hardware and software issues that cannot be resolved remotely. Set up and configure new hardware for incoming employees, tailored to specific job needs. Troubleshoot, image, and manage Dell hardware, ensuring necessary software is installed. Respond to user questions regarding system operations and resolve technical problems efficiently. Maintain documentation of support issues and actions taken. Partner with vendors to resolve technical and logistical issues in-person or virtually. Provide basic support for A/V systems, including Logitech Tap devices. Required Qualifications & Experience: Associate’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent technical training. 5+ years of experience in desktop support or a similar IT role. Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset. Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Familiarity with Active Directory, SCCM, ServiceNow, AppV, Citrix, PowerShell, and BitLocker. Understanding of desktop configuration management and internet directory services. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, circuit boards, and processors.
