Epic Security Architect - ech

Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain security architecture for the Epic electronic health record system. Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures related to Epic access and data protection. Conduct security risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to protect sensitive patient information. Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into Epic workflows. Manage user access controls and role-based permissions within the Epic environment. Respond to security incidents and conduct post-incident analysis for Epic-related breaches. Requirements Proven experience as a Security Architect, with a strong focus on Epic systems. In-depth knowledge of Epic security modules, access controls, and reporting capabilities. Understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and their impact on security. Experience with information security principles, risk management, and vulnerability assessment.
