Marketing Associate

Gregory Welteroth Advertising (GWA) is looking for a motivated, organized, and collaborative Marketing Associate to join our team.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who has built a foundation in marketing and is ready to take the next step in their career. The Marketing Associate works closely with Account Executives, Account Managers, and internal agency teams to help move client projects and campaigns from planning through execution.

Unlike a traditional coordinator role, this position offers increased responsibility for day-to-day project management, client communication, campaign execution, and follow-through while providing the opportunity to continue developing broader account management and marketing skills.

What You'll Do

• Support the day-to-day management of assigned client accounts and marketing initiatives.

• Coordinate projects and campaigns across creative, digital, media, analytics, and other internal teams.

• Help develop project timelines, organize deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met.

• Participate in client meetings and assist with meeting preparation, notes, action items, and follow-up.

• Communicate with clients regarding project status, deliverables, approvals, and routine requests.

• Prepare marketing materials, presentations, reports, and other client-facing documents.

• Assist with campaign planning, implementation, and ongoing coordination.

• Review project details and materials for accuracy and completeness before delivery.

• Work with internal teams to gather information, resolve questions, and keep projects moving.

• Monitor campaign and project progress and communicate updates to account leadership.

• Assist with research related to clients, competitors, audiences, industries, and marketing opportunities.

• Develop an understanding of client businesses, goals, brands, and marketing strategies.

• Help identify opportunities to improve processes, client service, and campaign execution.

• Provide additional account and marketing support as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or a related field preferred.

• Approximately 1–3 years of marketing, advertising, account service, project coordination, or related experience preferred.

• Agency experience is helpful but not required.

• Strong organizational and project-management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

• Comfortable communicating with both clients and internal teams.

• Working knowledge of digital marketing, social media, advertising, and general marketing principles.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with marketing, project-management, CRM, or analytics platforms is a plus.

• A collaborative attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

You may currently be a Marketing Coordinator, Account Coordinator, Project Coordinator, or early-career marketing professional who is ready for more responsibility. You're comfortable doing the detailed work that keeps projects moving, but you're also ready to become more involved in client relationships, campaign execution, and account management.
