Production Representative

As a Production Representative, you'll provide our Customers with fresh, made in store product, like salads, sandwiches, and pizzas, and maintain department and food safety / sanitation standards. Key responsibilities include production and food service tasks such as cutting, slicing, dicing, and chopping food for recipe preparation; prepping in accordance with recipe specifications and SOPs; packaging, labeling, stocking, and rotating made in store products; completing tasks at assigned workstations; assisting in multiple food preparation areas; assisting in technical areas and with catering orders, as needed; performing other duties as needed; complying with food safety and sanitation standards; properly handling and maintaining temperature integrity of all ingredients, product, and equipment operation; maintaining sanitation in food preparation areas; properly handling, operating, and maintaining equipment; and providing internal customer service and assisting customers as needed.

Qualifications include being 18+ years of age, having experience in food preparation and equipment (preferred), related experience (preferred), culinary knowledge, understanding of nutritional values and ingredients, communication and interpersonal skills, reading and writing skills, ability to execute high-volume production, ability to keep open availability to accommodate rotating shifts including frequent evenings, weekends, and holidays, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, HS Diploma or GED or equivalent, culinary certification, or equivalent combination of culinary training / work experience (preferred). Physical demands include functioning in a fast-paced, retail environment, working extended hours and / or rotating schedules, safely maneuvering around moving mechanical parts, constantly standing, walking, reaching at waist, grasping, frequently being exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic materials, occasionally walking, reaching at overhead, reaching at shoulder, reaching at knee, reaching at floor, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, climbing stairs, pivoting, twisting, pushing / pulling with arms, pinching, performing fine motor movements, shoulder circumduction, occasionally being exposed to wet, cold, heat, ambient temperatures, and loud noise, and demonstrating the ability to lift 55 lbs, and manage in excess of 80 lbs with a team lift.
