Position Overview

A growing masonry contractor specializing in brick and block installation is seeking a Construction Project Manager to manage projects from handoff through completion. Projects are primarily located throughout the five boroughs of New York City.

This is a hands-on project management role responsible for coordinating materials, purchasing, scheduling, subcontracted installation crews, architects, suppliers, and project documentation while ensuring each project stays on schedule and within budget.

The role is primarily office-based in Williamsburg, with field visits as needed to understand project conditions, address issues, and ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage masonry projects from initial handoff through completion
• Review construction plans, drawings, specifications, and material lists
• Coordinate shop drawings and other required project documentation
• Handle purchasing and place material orders based on project requirements and purchase orders
• Coordinate with architects, suppliers, installers, and other project stakeholders
• Schedule projects, deliveries, and third-party installation crews
• Manage purchase orders and change orders throughout the project
• Track project costs and ensure work remains within the established budget
• Provide project information and reporting to the finance team
• Oversee project progress and proactively resolve scheduling, material, or installation issues
• Conduct jobsite visits as needed, particularly during project startup or for more complex projects
• Maintain organized records and ensure project details are handled accurately
