Your Role and Responsibilities As a Business Value Management Specialist, you will: Lead workshops and collaborate directly with customers to create complex business cases justifying the economic benefits of investing in IBM technology. Engage with Systems Integrators (Accenture, EY, etc.) to develop persuasive value propositions that address client business outcomes and potential ROI. Deploy a strategic approach across the Americas to empower sales teams with value‑selling methodologies and techniques. Conduct comprehensive analyses of client needs and industry trends, identifying areas of potential value creation. Maintain deep expertise in IBM software solutions and their applications across diverse industries. Educate sales teams on value‑based selling techniques, integrating ROI analysis into proposal development. Build a repository of ROI models and case studies to support value‑based selling initiatives and perform ROI analyses to showcase business value. Collaborate with stakeholders, including sales teams and product management, ensuring alignment and effective communication of value‑based selling strategies. Required Technical and Professional Expertise Experience in consulting, sales, finance, or business development, particularly in specialized Value Management roles. Demonstrated success in co‑creating business cases with customers. Strong background in ROI analysis, business modeling, and facilitating value‑based discussions. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Experience in working with large, complex go‑to‑market teams and enterprise clients, successfully scaling business value management services. Proficient in analyzing complex business data to generate actionable insights. Robust problem‑solving and analytical abilities. Familiarity with emerging technologies that require selling to business lines. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Certification in value‑based selling methodologies, such as the Value Selling Framework. Certification in ROI analysis.
