Position

The Temporary Store Manager, Roosevelt Field, will provide leadership coverage for an approximately five-month leave of absence, beginning in October 2026 . The anticipated duration of the assignment may be extended or shortened based on business needs and the timing of the leave.

During the assignment, the Temporary Store Manager will serve as the commercial and cultural leader of the boutique, accountable for business performance, exceptional client experiences, operational excellence, and the leadership and development of the store team.

The Temporary Store Manager will provide continuity of leadership throughout the coverage period, ensuring that business priorities, team development, client engagement, and operational standards remain consistently executed. This role partners closely with Regional Leadership and cross-functional teams to execute company priorities and represent the Moncler brand inside and outside the boutique.

Your Impact

Business Leadership

• Lead overall store performance, achieving sales, profitability, productivity, client development, and operational objectives.
• Execute store-specific business strategies in partnership with Regional Leadership, translating company priorities into clear action plans.
• Analyze KPIs, traffic, inventory performance, client trends, and market opportunities to identify actions that drive results.
• Drive performance across sales, conversion, UPT, CRM capture, productivity, repurchase rate, and inventory productivity.
• Manage store expenses, payroll, and scheduling while maximizing productivity and profitability.
• Maintain strong business continuity throughout the temporary leadership assignment.

Client Experience & Client Development

• Champion the Moncler Client Promise and ensure the team consistently delivers exceptional, personalized luxury experiences.
• Maintain a highly visible presence on the sales floor through Client Experience Management, coaching in the moment and engaging directly with clients and VICs.
• Build a strong culture of clienteling, networking, CRM excellence, and long-term relationship development.
• Partner with Client Relations and cross-functional teams to execute events and activations that strengthen client engagement and brand awareness.
• Resolve escalated client situations with professionalism, empathy, sound judgment, and a commitment to protecting the relationship.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Lead, inspire, coach, and develop the store team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and excellence.
• Provide stability and continuity for the team throughout the temporary leadership period.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention of luxury retail talent as needed.
• Set clear expectations and provide timely, specific, and actionable feedback through regular coaching and performance conversations.
• Continue existing development and succession plans in partnership with Regional Leadership and People & Organization.
• Lead engaging daily briefings and team meetings that reinforce business priorities, product knowledge, company values, and recognition.

Operations & Store Excellence

• Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and standards across scheduling, payroll, inventory, cash handling, shipping and receiving, loss prevention, compliance, and after-sales service.
• Partner with Visual Merchandising to maintain exceptional presentation standards that reflect Moncler's global brand image.
• Safeguard company assets through strong operational controls and close partnership with Operations and Asset Protection.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, inventory accuracy, productivity, and the overall client experience.
• Support product launches, leadership visits, special projects, peak business periods, and regional priorities with exceptional execution.

Cross-Functional, Department Store & Brand Partnership

• Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and standards across scheduling, payroll, inventory, cash handling, shipping and receiving, loss prevention, compliance, and after-sales service.
• Build and maintain a strong partnership with department store leadership and key stakeholders, serving as the primary Moncler contact and ensuring effective communication, alignment, and resolution of day-to-day business needs.
• Navigate the leased department store environment effectively, balancing Moncler standards and priorities with applicable host-store policies, procedures, and operational requirements.
• Partner with department store leadership to identify opportunities to drive traffic, client engagement, visibility, and commercial performance within the location.
• Partner with Visual Merchandising to maintain exceptional presentation standards that reflect Moncler's global brand image.
• Safeguard company assets through strong operational controls and close partnership with Operations, Asset Protection, and relevant department store partners.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, inventory accuracy, productivity, and the overall client experience.
• Support product launches, leadership visits, special projects, peak business periods, and regional priorities with exceptional execution.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

Experience

• Minimum of five years of progressive luxury retail leadership experience, including experience managing a high-volume store or comparable business.
• Prior Store Manager, Acting Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or comparable leadership experience strongly preferred.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret KPIs, financial information, and client insights to drive results.
• Expertise in luxury client experience, clienteling, CRM, and relationship development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while fostering accountability and inclusion.
• Strong operational judgment across inventory, compliance, asset protection, payroll, and scheduling.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptable, hands-on, and results-oriented, with the ability to quickly integrate into an established business and team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, POS, CRM, inventory management, and other retail technology systems.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
• Ability to commit to the anticipated duration of the temporary assignment.

Compensation and Benefits

The current estimated base salary range is $105,000 - $125,000 annually.

In addition to a competitive salary, the hired candidate will be eligible for a quarterly bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision coverage; short- and long-term disability; paid parental leave; seven paid holidays; up to 120 hours of accrued paid vacation; four personal days; two community service days; employee discounts; and a retirement plan with an employer contribution.
