Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:


Provide critical emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality nursing services in accordance with protocols and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and establish priorities for care based on acuity levels.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician orders and clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and procedures in the electronic health record.
• Maintain compliance with certification, licensure, and hospital policies, including completing mandatory orientation and training modules.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with a valid NJ license or Compact license.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• BSN degree from an accredited program.
• Proven travel nursing experience, including at least one completed contract assignment.
• Demonstrated EPIC electronic health record system proficiency.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (certifications expiring within 30 days are not accepted).
