We're looking for experienced Operating Room RNs to join a brand-new cardiovascular surgery program on Chicago's North Shore.
This opportunity is designed for OR nurses who already have experience scrubbing and circulating and are ready to expand into cardiac surgery. Previous CVOR experience is preferred, but not required, you'll receive 8 weeks of paid, structured CVOR training with dedicated mentorship as you transition into the specialty.

Compensation & Perks
- $41.00-$60.89/hour, based on experience
- $20,000 sign-on bonus
- $13/hour standby pay while on call
- +$4/hour CV differential after orientation when working cardiac cases
- $1,000 certification bonus

What You'll Do
- Scrub and circulate surgical cases
- Prepare the OR, instrumentation, supplies, and specialized equipment
- Provide safe intraoperative nursing care and monitor patients throughout procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and infection-prevention standards
- Work closely with surgeons, anesthesia, surgical technologists, and the broader perioperative team
- Support cardiovascular cases following completion of CVOR training
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Active RN license
- Previous Operating Room nursing experience
- Experience both scrubbing AND circulating surgical cases
- Previous CVOR or cardiac surgery experience
