Payroll Specialist

Job Description This position represents LAUNCH internally and externally in a positive and professional manner. This position is primarily responsible for processing payroll on a weekly basis. The Payroll Specialist will have daily communication and coordinate with Corporate (Oak Brook, IL) staff as well as various client locations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform daily payroll department operations Consistently, accurately process payroll for up to 1500+ employees Collect timecards from employees at multiple different locations Save all timecards on the shared drive for reference Solve issues and answer questions related to payroll, answer inquiries, and enforce company polices Complete all employment verification and unemployment claim requests on time Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance Organize and maintain all record keeping including scanning of all data and proper filing within department files Provide customer service to all employees, outside customers, and vendors Other duties as assigned.
